About Me

My session on "The UX of Visa Application" at UX Camp Dublin 2017

I’m a user experience (UX) and visual designer with background in business and marketing.

I started as a print and web designer in the early 2000s, creating everything from brand identity, retail products, marketing collateral, to websites.

I also took on business and marketing roles in the Philippines and Singapore, where I practiced service design, content management and strategy, as well as streamlining processes and developing toolkits so people know how to do and where to find things.

I moved to Ireland in mid-2015 and took time off to get settled and enjoy my new life in Europe. During this period I did some design commissions and launched my own line of stationery. I also earned my inbound methodology certification from Hubspot Academy.

In 2016, I joined a UX studio in Dublin, where I was involved in the full spectrum of UX activities. I wore many hats in this role – from user researcher, information architect, interaction designer, visual designer, usability test moderator, service designer, web accessibility auditor, content designer, copy editor, to brand and marketing coordinator.

Currently, I’m one of two City Leaders for the Dublin chapter of Ladies That UX, an international community of women seeking to address gender imbalance in tech.
