Other UX Experience

by - 10:12 PM

I wear many hats as a UX designer. In addition to user research, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual designing for mobile apps, websites, and enterprise management software, I have also been involved in the following activities:

Usability Testing
Moderator for in-lab website usability test, where participants ranged from ages 17 to 50 with varying technical skills.

The role required full presence of mind. I needed to observe the participants as they used the website, ask questions that would allow participants to vocalise and elaborate on their opinions without hindering them in their testing. I ensured that each session was captured on Lookback and the testing provided meaningful data. I was also involved in the reporting and data assessment at the end of the project.

Service Design
Provided service design for software release management to improve community engagement and user adoption. The output was a service design map illustrating client activities and customer touchpoints at pre-rollout, rollout and post- rollout stages.

The service map was built upon the client’s existing release plan, with recommendations based on industry best practices, and an experience mapping workshop held with the client’s product team.

Web Accessibility Auditing
Evaluated a learning management software against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA.

The project involved using various accessibility tools on more than 20 pages to test whether it meets every single criterion for WCAG 2.0 AA. The final report included methodology, summary of audit findings, tabulation of results per criterion, and recommendations.
